Check list Top 10 on Managing the Job Site

Sometimes, all it takes to get that next job is just do the little things that can make a contractor happy. So when a next bid comes up with that contractor and all things being equal between you and another guy, you will get job.

1. Do ongoing everyday clean-up.
2. Protect material from theft.
3. Protect all those finished surfaces.
4. Do your as-builds as the projects goes along.
5. Keep a set of plans of your own.
6. Do your own punch list and impress the contractor.
7. Keep your tools locked up when you’re not there.
8. Provide temporary facilities.
9. Go to that safety meeting even if you do not want to.
10. Last but not least, haul your own trash away.
